How it works

Hand to foot, every time you step on

Most smart scales measure through your feet alone and estimate the rest of your body. Huvo Scale Pro has eight electrodes: four in the glass under your feet and four in the handle you hold. A small, safe signal travels through your whole body at two frequencies, 20 kHz and 100 kHz, and the scale uses how it moves through each part of you to estimate fat, muscle and water.

Three steps

  1. Step on barefoot. Stand still with both feet on the electrodes.
  2. Lift the handle. Hold it with both hands, arms straight and angled about 45 degrees away from your body, not touching your sides.
  3. See your results. Weight, body fat % and BMI appear on the display. Open the free app to see all 28 measurements, including each arm, each leg and your trunk.

Getting consistent readings

  • Measure at the same time each day, ideally in the morning before eating or exercising.
  • Use bare, clean feet on a hard, flat, dry floor.
  • Hydration affects every bioimpedance scale, so follow the trend over weeks rather than any single reading.

Set up in a few minutes

  1. Download the free app from the App Store or Google Play. Your order confirmation email shows you which one.
  2. Create your profile with your height, age and sex. The calculations need them.
  3. Turn on Bluetooth, step on the scale and follow the pairing prompt in the app.
  4. Optional: connect Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit or Samsung Health in the app's settings.
